1952 San Francisco 49ers season : ウィキペディア英語版 | 1952 San Francisco 49ers season
The 1952 San Francisco 49ers season was the team's third season in the NFL, seventh season overall, and were coming off a 7–4–1 record in 1951. The 49ers would start off the season strong, winning each of their first 5 games by at least 2 touchdowns, and had visions of playing in their first ever NFL Championship game. However, the 49ers season would hit a roadblock, as the team would lose 5 of their final 7 games to finish the year at 7–5–0, and in 3rd place in the NFC. Y.A. Tittle would emerge as the starting quarterback job, as he would have a completion rate of 51.0% along with 11 TD's and 1,407 yards. Frankie Albert also had some action, completing 55.0% of his passes, along with 8 TD's and 964 yards. Joe Perry would rush for a team high 725 yards and 8 TD's, while Hugh McElhenny wouldn't be too far behind with 684 yards on only 98 attempts (7.0 yards/carry), along with 6 rushing TD's, while he caught 26 passes for 367 yards and earned another 3 TD's. Gordie Soltau would lead the club with 55 receptions for 774 yards, and 7 TD's. ==Offseason==
